This photo was taken 12/26/20. The beard is temporary. I shave a decade off my appearance when the blade drops. For me ink belongs on the page. A subtle use of make up and similarly perfume are my preference (the scent of which should be detectable only at the moment I kiss your neck). I cook - well. Drink wine very nearly every night. Read books. Listen in darkness to music and superb narrators tell stories. Find people I admire interviewed riveting as well as a very selective trove of movies. I sometimes tinker at the piano, mainly to be in the company of genius but I do like the process of learning a new piece and the mechanics of playing (need I mention the sound). When the weather is fine I walk, or rather stroll, what can accumulate to considerable distances, preferably by water, or amid the trees, or ideally both. And although I look stern,I can see beauty in a rock. Most of winter is seen through a pane of glass, which in no way diminishes its charm. And on the subject of charm, although I may have some princely attributes, the idea of being someone's prince charming went out the window 30 years ago; but if we can find enjoyment in each others company for an hour, a year, a decade...wouldn't that be something.
